B-COOL PAC portable air conditioner for trucks RVs vans and off-grid use — 110V AC 5200 BTU UL certified R290 32.6 lbs

B-COOL PAC | Portable Air Conditioner for Trucks, RVs, Vans & Off-Grid Use

$595.00

The B-COOL PAC is a self-contained portable air conditioner built for truckers, overlanders, van lifers, and anyone who needs real cooling without a permanent installation. No roof cutting. No drilling. No refrigerant work. Set it up where you need it, route the exhaust duct out a window or door gap, and it starts cooling in minutes.

Unit has a front evaporator side that blows cold air into the space, and a rear condenser side that exhausts heat out through the included duct. The unit ships with all refrigerant factory pre-charged and all pipes factory welded. Plug in, attach the duct, and go.

The B-COOL PAC drops from 30°C to 15°C in just 5 minutes. Whether you are resting in a truck cab, cooling a tent, a boat cabin, or a job-site trailer, it delivers real air conditioning wherever you need it: indoors or outdoors.

COOLING ONLY. The B-COOL PAC is a cooling-only unit. Heating is not available on this model.

Installation Manual

Installation for the B-COOL PAC is completely plug-and-play.

  1. Connect the rear air hood to the back of the unit.
  2. Attach the exhaust duct and air suction duct to the hood.
  3. Route the ducts to ensure heat is exhausted properly from the hot air outlet.
  4. Connect the unit to a 110-120 V power source.

The B-COOL PAC works like a miniaturized truck AC packed into a single portable enclosure with two sides:

Front cold side: Air enters through the front inlet, passes through the internal filter and over the evaporator. The refrigerant absorbs heat and cold air exits through the front outlet into your space.

Rear hot side: The condenser absorbs heat from the refrigerant and exhausts it out through the duct, which you route outside through a window gap, door gap, or vent.

The exhaust duct must always be routed outside while the unit is running. Leaving the duct unvented will heat the space instead of cooling it.

Using on DC Power (Trucks & Off-Grid)

The B-COOL PAC runs on 110V AC. To use it from a 12V or 24V vehicle battery system, you need a compatible inverter:

  • Minimum inverter output required: 1,500W
  • Connect the inverter directly to the battery — NOT to the cigarette lighter socket
  • Cigarette lighter circuits are not rated for this power draw
  • Both 12V and 24V systems are compatible with the right inverter

Contact our sales team at sales@dcpowersales.com or 778-590-5000 for inverter recommendations compatible with the B-COOL PAC.

Who It's Built For

The B-COOL PAC is the right unit if:

  • You're a trucker or sleeper cab operator who needs real cooling without engine idling and without cutting the roof
  • You own an RV, motorhome, or camper van and want portable AC without a permanent roof installation
  • You camp, overland, or go off-road and need real air conditioning at a campsite, not just a fan
  • You have a yacht or boat cabin that needs cooling at anchor or at the dock
  • You run a job site trailer or portable workspace and need cooling wherever you go
  • You need a UL-certified portable air conditioner with real North American technical support and parts availability

The B-COOL PAC is the no-installation entry point into B-COOL cooling. No roof cut. No drilling. No refrigerant work. Just plug in, route the duct out a gap, and it's running.

Applications

Semi trucks and sleeper cabs — long haul trucks — RVs, motorhomes, camper vans, travel trailers — tents, camping, outdoor events — yachts and boats — job sites and portable workspaces — off-road vehicles and overlanding rigs — bedrooms and small rooms.

FAQ

Does it need a permanent installation?
No. Place it where you need it, route the exhaust duct out a window or door gap, and it is ready. No roof cutting, no drilling, no refrigerant work required.

Does it work on 12V or 24V vehicle power?
Yes, with a 1,500W minimum output inverter connected directly to the battery — not the cigarette lighter.

Is it UL certified?
Yes. UL certified to UL60335-1 Ed.6 and UL60335-2-24 Ed.3, tested by Waltek Testing Group, January 2025.

Does it have heating?
No. The B-COOL PAC is a cooling-only unit.

What refrigerant does it use?
R290, a natural environmentally friendly refrigerant. All refrigerant is factory pre-charged and all pipes are factory welded. The unit arrives sealed and ready to run. Do not attempt to modify or recharge the system.

Does it need the exhaust duct?
Yes. The exhaust duct must be routed outside at all times. Running the unit without proper venting will heat the space instead of cooling it.

Can it ship by standard courier?
Contact us at sales@dcpowersales.com or 778-590-5000 to confirm shipping options for your location before ordering.

How fast does it cool?
The B-COOL PAC drops from 30°C to 15°C in 5 minutes.

What is the temperature control range?
16°C to 30°C (60.8°F to 86°F).

Why B-COOL Does Not List BTU Ratings

Every other brand lists BTU numbers. We don't, and here's why.

BTU ratings in the 12V and 24V air conditioner market are tested in controlled lab conditions and competitors go with their favourite testing company and tend to use those results that depicts them the "best". Real-world performance — inside a truck cab or RV sitting in the sun at 100°F+ — is a completely different story. The numbers you see on competitor listings are inflated, and we are not willing to publish figures that mislead the people who depend on this equipment to stay safe and productive.

Lower amp draw means longer battery runtime. For operators running on batteries overnight, during rest breaks, or in anti-idling zones, the 6RM stretches your power further than any other rooftop option in our lineup.
